BACKGROUND
This matter was introduced on first reading by the Council at their January 16, 2024 meeting. The ordinance will approve the Second Amendment to the Hillsborough Development Agreement, allowing the applicant to have until March 31, 2026 to complete construction of the expansion of the Hillsborough Senior Apartment Community, which will provide responsible long-range planning.
Once adopted on second reading, the ordinance will go into effect thirty (30) days thereafter.

AN UNCODIFIED ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHINO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF CHINO AND HILLSBOROUGH PHASE III, LLC FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A SENIOR HOUSING PROJECT.
