RECOMMENDATION
1) Accept the Street Rehabilitation Project - Pipeline Ave (ST162) and Traffic Signal Modification Project - Grand Avenue at Spectrum East and West (TR171), with Sequel Contractor, Inc., Santa Fe Springs, CA, Contract 2022-062 as complete; 2) authorize the director of Public Works to file the Notice of Completion; and 3) release the retention funds following the 35-day lien period.

BACKGROUND
On July 6, 2021, the City Council awarded a construction contract to Sequel Contractors, Inc., Santa Fe Springs, CA, for $3,313,079.27 for the Street Rehabilitation Project - Pipeline Avenue ("ST162") and Traffic Signal Modifications - Grand Avenue at Spectrum East and West ("TR171"). Additionally, the City Council authorized expenditures of up to $331,000.00 (10% of the construction contract) for project contingencies, bringing the total construction contract amount not-to-exceed $3,644,079.27.
