BACKGROUND
The City of Chino currently contracts with Data Ticket, Inc. for citation processing services for citywide parking and administrative citations. These services are used by the Police Department, Utility Billing Division, and Code Enforcement Division.
In 2022, the City piggybacked on the County of Riverside's competitively awarded contract with Data Ticket, Inc. The City's agreement was approved through June 30, 2026, while the County of Riverside's contract remains in effect through June 30, 2027.
ISSUES/ANALYSIS
Staff is requesting approval of Amendment No. 6 to extend the City's Agreement with Data Ticket, Inc. through June 30, 2027, aligning the City's agreement with the remaining term of the County of Riverside's competitively awarded contract.
The proposed amendment extends the agreement for one additional year. The scope of services, compensation rates, and procurement method remain unchanged.
Data Ticket, Inc. has consistently provided reliable citation processing services and continues to meet the City's operational needs. Approval of Amendment No. 6 will ensure uninterrupted citation processing services while allowing the City to continue leveraging the County of Riverside's competitively awarded contract.
Staff recommends that the City Council approve Amendment No. 6 to the Agreement with Data Ticket, Inc., effective retroactively to July 1, 2026.
