RECOMMENDATION
1) Adopt Resolution No. 2026-052, to accept the Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant Funding from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in the amount of $500,000 for Fiscal Year 2026-27; 2) establish grant number G7270 Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant and appropriate $500,000 to the Transportation Fund (320), with a corresponding increase to the grant revenue; 3) establish project number MS276 - Chino Active Transportation Plan and appropriate $64,780 of the available local Measure I Fund (322), for the local match; and 4) authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all related documents on behalf of the City of Chino.

FISCAL IMPACT
Requires an appropriation of $500,000 to the revenue and expenditure accounts of the Transportation Fund (320), grant number G7270. Additionally, project MS276 requires an appropriation of $64,780 from the Measure I (322) Fund balance for the local match, as shown in the table below:
