RECOMMENDATION
Approve the Public Improvement Agreement and associated securities with Chaffey Community College District for public improvements, including the construction of a fire access driveway, installation of curb ramps, and relocation of an existing irrigation backflow device, generally located at the intersection of Satterfield Way and Eucalyptus Avenue. Additionally, authorize the City Manager to execute any necessary documents on behalf of the City.

BACKGROUND
Chaffey College expanded its campus with the construction of a new building, all of which was reviewed and approved by the Department of State Architect. As part of this expansion, the College was required to provide a fire access lane, which necessitated the construction of a driveway within the City of Chino public right-of-way generally located at the intersection of Satterfield Way and Eucalyptus Avenue as shown in Exhibit 1. Associated improvements include, but are not limited to, the installation of curb ramps and the relocation of an existing backflow device to accommodate the new driveway. The public improvements necessitate a Public Improvement Agreement and corresponding securities provided in Exhibit 2.
