BACKGROUND
On February 18, 2025, Resolution No. 2025-004 was adopted authorizing the submittal of the PLHA application for funding under the State of California PLHA program. The City’s application sought funding to support a homebuyer assistance program and a rental assistance program for homeless families or families at-risk of homelessness.
Following submittal and review, HCD requested that the City’s resolution be amended to include the original estimated 5-year allocation of $1,496,190 shown in the 2024 PLHA NOFA, Appendix B in Section 2. This revision is required for HCD to continue its processing of the necessary funding allocation agreement.
ISSUES/ANALYSIS
A revised Resolution No. 2025-024 has been drafted for consideration. Upon approval, staff will submit the revised resolution to HCD for review and further processing of the PLHA funding agreement.
