FISCAL IMPACT
Increasing the approval authority levels and competitive bidding threshold is expected to result in modest cost savings by reducing the administrative workload associated with smaller purchases and contracts, improving overall efficiency and service delivery.

BACKGROUND
This matter was first introduced by the Chino City Council at their December 17, 2024 meeting. Once adopted on second reading, the Ordinance will go into effect thirty (30) days thereafter.
