RECOMMENDATION
recommendation
1) Adopt Resolution 2023-059 accepting the Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Transit Stop Access Improvement Program Grant funding in the amount of $127,648 from the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA); 2) authorize staff to submit a claim form and request for reimbursement; and 3) authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents on behalf of the City.

FISCAL IMPACT
Sufficient funds were included in the Capital Improvement Program Budget for the TDA Grant funding. An amount of $127,648 will be reimbursed to the City's TDA Grant G7024.

BACKGROUND
On July 11, 2013, the City of Chino was awarded the TDA Article 3 Transit Stop Access Improvement grant funds for the Central Avenue Sidewalk/Access Ramps Improvement Project in the amount of $127,468.
Following the initial award, the City was granted two extensions, with the final extension given on April 17, 2019, with the deadline of December 31, 2021. A scope change was also granted along with the extension of the project, modifying the project from the Central Avenue Sidewalk/Access Ramps Improvement Project to the FY18/19 Street Rehabilitation Riverside Drive Project.
