Establish project number ST272 - Pavement Improvements Zone 2 (Chino Ave and Various Streets) and appropriate $60,000 from the Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Fund (327) to fund Engineering Design Services; and 2) authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents on behalf of the City.

FISCAL IMPACT
Establishment of project ST272 requires appropriation in the amount of $60,000 from the available FY 2026-27 Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account Fund (327) reserves, as shown in the table below:

BACKGROUND
The Public Works Department oversees the pavement maintenance of approximately 250 centerline-miles of roadway inclusive of Euclid Avenue (Relinquished to the City in May 2026). The pavement improvement program includes planning, design, and construction oversight for treatments ranging from slurry seals to full-depth reconstruction, as well as restoring pavement surfaces following utility work.
