RECOMMENDATION
Approve the adoption of Ordinance 2026-007 (Second Reading), to amend sign policies of the City of Chino and reorganizes multiple chapters to Title 16 (Signs) of the Chino Municipal Code.

There is no immediate fiscal impact. Future costs associated with education materials, compliance inspections, and enforcement activities would be evaluated during implementation and incorporated into future budget considerations if necessary.

BACKGROUND
Ordinance 2026-007 was introduced on first reading by the City Council at its July 7, 2026 meeting. Ordinance No. 2026-007 proposes amending sign policies of the City of Chino and reorganizes multiple chapters to Title 16 (Signs) of the Chino Municipal Code.
Once adopted on second reading, the Ordinance will go into effect thirty (30) days thereafter.
